This week, Sotheby’s International Realty proudly released a landmark study on the current state of the luxury real estate market. The study revealed the following noteworthy global trends in luxury real estate .

 

Lifestyle Properties

This Luxury Lifestyle Report surveyed affluent consumers in the United States, the United Kingdom, China and Brazil, and found that the majority in all four countries reported being more ready to purchase a lifestyle property now than they were five years ago, as well as more likely to make a lifestyle property their primary residence.

Legacy Homes

In addition to a lifestyle property,the majority of affluent consumers in the all four nations surveyed also reported intending to make a legacy home purchase. A legacy home is a property intended to remain in the family or be gifted to children.

A corresponding survey of Sotheby’s International Realty network members found that the average legacy home client spends between $1 and $3 million purchasing a legacy home.

 

Return on Investment

Additionally, the Sotheby’s International Realty Luxury Lifestyle Report found that earning a return on investment was a key factor for clients when purchasing a luxury property. Compared with five years ago, a majority of affluent consumers are more confident in the strength of the housing market in their country of primary residence, which they believe offers the best real estate value right now.

Mizner Park Events: An Evening With The Artist

NPSIR hosts “An Evening with the Artist” event the third Thursday of every month and April’s installment is set to build on the success of previous events.

This month’s featured artist is Luisa Comizzo whose favorite subject matter for artwork is flowers.  Fitting that such an accomplished artist helps welcome spring and all of the natural beauty blooming in south Florida.

Luisa was born in Italy and is a self-taught artist who first explored her creativity through drawing when she was a young girl.

While her initial artistic expression was through colored pencil and ink, Luisa began exploring the use of oils during her time living in Venezuela.

What started as work on miniatures and small canvases grew in size as Luisa discovered more ways to make the ideas in her mind flow into her brush strokes and into stunning works of art.

Luisa Comizzo’s love and appreciation for flowers is evident in her large paintings of them. Living in Boca Raton has helped Luisa build on and improve her artistic talent so that now her flowers on canvas appear three-dimensional and as though they could bloom to life right from the artwork.

Nature is dear to Luisa’s heart and her creations feature rich colors, fluid lines and a highly effective use of shadows and light.

One almost feels the warmth of the sunlight the flowers in her paintings are thriving in and they’re a breathtaking reflection of the endless sunshine in Florida at Mizner Park events.
